In already distant days of the nineties, yet studying in the institutions of higher education, two Latvian young men understood that "the process of accounting is the most creative thing among other things to do" and decided to devote their lives to finances.
Gatis Andersons and Aivars Spalva have acquired academic knowledge in the area of economics and finance in the best Latvian institutions of higher education. Gatis had acquired the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA) and Aivars - in the University of Latvia. Gatis continued higher-level studies according to the Master's degree programme in the Information Systems Management Institute (ISMI), where had acquired the prestigious Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In turn, Aivars had become the Master of Business Administration after graduation from the Riga Business School.
Already during years of studies, Gatis and Aivars worked as finance directors in some companies - leaders in their branches of industry and at the same time, developed their knowledge by professional further education programmes in the area of finance. In doing so, they happened to meet each other at any seminar devoted to the analysis of world economic processes in London.
Later on, both of them had understood that acquired education and professional experience did not allow limiting their creative potential any more by providing the service to only one employer.
In such way, in 2005, Aivars and Gatis became entrepreneurs, founded the accounting and financial consulting company "Animus Finance" and became employers for 10 professional accountants.
From 2009, the company received a name of both founders and owners and at present, it is known as the financial consulting and accounting company "Andersons un Spalva".
